We woke up at 3 am, on a Sunday, to a broken AC system... Of course this would happen when it's been 100 degrees everyday, my wife was 40 weeks pregnant, with 2 children, 2 dogs, and relatives staying at our house in preparation for our baby's birth. By the time it was 8:00am, our house was already 85 degrees inside. It was miserable. A friend said MLD may be able to help. I called MLD and explained my situation. It was a Sunday, so I really didn't know what to expect... I received a call from Mike, the owner, 10 minutes later telling me he'd have someone over to help us as quickly as possible. The technician came about a half hour later!! On a Sunday morning!! He inspected the AC unit and determined there was a broken part. He had the part on him, replaced it, and the AC started right up. That was a month ago and I haven't had any issues since!! I have no idea what I would have done if MLD and Mike weren't there to help us. Thank you so much!! They are the best!
My AC was not working properly so I had called a different AC company and they said that we needed to replace the AC because the Compressor was going bad. After the 6k to 7k quote I decided to find another company to look at the unit before I spent that much money. MLD was suggested by our daughter so we gave them a call and they were able to get a Tech out there by the evening. When the Tech got there he found that the AC Capacitor was bad and after replacing it the AC was back to working properly. I would like to thank MLD for having very professional techs that know how to do a good job. Y'all will have my business from now on and when I really do need a new unit you will get that job as well.

Our 18 year old two story house has one unit for each level. The upstairs unit was not cooling so we called MLD on the strong recommendation of the previous owner of our house. After discovering our problem was deterioration due to the age of the unit we decided to replace both originally installed units with new 5 stage Infinity units by Carrier. The units were available and were scheduled for installation 3 days after the initial service call. The crew arrived about 8am and the new units were quietly running at 4pm the same day! We were briefed on the new thermostat operation the next business day, received our warranty information and necessary paper work and are enjoying a new feel in our house with lower humidity levels produced by this type system. Everyone from MLD is courteous, prompt, communicative, efficient and professional. When the Texas heat becomes intense and any trouble comes from your air conditioning equipment you would be wise to call MLD!
When an air conditioner goes out in a Texas summer you are in trouble. We are landlords and these tenants have a small baby and the baby wasn't feeling good which made it worse. I called and talked to Dallas and explained the situation - they were out there the next day. Now I know that can't happen every time but they did exactly what they said they would do. They called when they said they would - they showed up on time - the tenant said they were so polite and concerned - and fixed it. You couldn't ask for more than that. Our experience - and with rentals we deal with a lot of services - these people are top on our list. We are actually surprised - sad to say - when a service provider - actually does what he commits to without several calls.. These people get an A+ from us!
